Scrutinex productises that question. Rather than a scoped advisory engagement, it is a fixed-price report, ordered online, delivered in days.

Founder
James F. Kollie, Jr. served as Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Liberia and as Chief Executive Officer of the Liberia Maritime Authority. In both roles the day-to-day work included exactly what this product does: assessing counterparties, reviewing concession and contract proposals from foreign entities, and applying anti-money-laundering and compliance standards to institutional decisions with public money behind them.
That background matters here for one specific reason. Screening software returns matches. Deciding what a match means, especially where politically exposed persons, offshore structures, or thin registry data are involved, requires someone who has made those calls in a setting where getting them wrong had consequences.
Full reports are reviewed personally or by analysts working to that standard.
Why the product exists
The due diligence market is split. At the top, investigative firms conduct bespoke engagements starting in the tens of thousands of dollars, sold on retainer to funds, corporates and law firms. In the middle, KYB and identity platforms sell subscriptions and API volume to compliance teams that screen thousands of entities a year. At the bottom, background check services offer cheap self-serve reports, but almost exclusively for United States employment screening.
None of those serve a consultant in Accra checking a European buyer, a small manufacturer verifying an overseas distributor, a landlord checking a corporate tenant's parent company, or a founder who has been approached by an investor with a convincing website and no traceable history.
That is who Scrutinex is for. One report, priced so that checking is cheaper than guessing.
How we handle your information
Orders are confidential. We do not tell the subject of a report that a report has been ordered, and we do not sell, share or publish client or subject data. Reports are prepared for the named client and the purpose stated at intake.
We work only from public records, licensed databases and information you provide. We do not use pretexting, do not access private accounts, and decline requests that would require either.
